Happy holidays, Creality Experts fans!

It’s been an exciting year for Creality, with several new 3D printer releases that push the technology and ease of use farther than ever before. We wanted to share our list of the most interesting new 3D printers that you might not be aware of. Whether you’re shopping for yourself or looking for gift ideas, this is a great place to start.

Best All-Around 3D Printer: Ender 3 V3 SE

The Ender 3 V3 SE is the most exciting 3D printer we’ve seen from Creality in a long time. It’s the most affordable Creality printer with a direct drive extruder, and also includes automatic bed leveling and Z offset calibration to make it easier to get started than ever before. We’ve been testing this machine for a few months now and have been really impressed–it’s a great upgrade from an Ender 3 or even from the Ender 3 V2 Neo.

Best Premium 3D Printer: Creality K1 Max

The Creality K1 Max is the most premium machine Creality has ever released, with features such as an integrated camera and LiDAR sensor to monitor ongoing prints. It’s also the fastest 3D printer Creality has ever released, with a print speed of up to 600 mm/s. The K1 Max has an enclosed build chamber and a 300 x 300 x 300 mm (11.8” x 11.8” x 11.8”) build volume, making it capable of printing a wide range of models.

Best Large Format 3D Printer: Creality CR-M4

One of Creality’s original claims to fame was that they’ve continually offered some of the largest build volumes for FDM 3D printers. The new CR-M4 is the latest large-format Creality printer, with a 450 x 450 x 470 mm (17.7” x 17.7” x 18.5”) build volume. Importantly, it also uses the Sprite direct drive extruder–this is Creality’s first large-format printer to include a direct drive extruder, and it’s a welcome improvement. The CR-M4 also includes automatic bed leveling and has WiFi connectivity to allow you to monitor and control it remotely.

These are only a few of Creality’s new machines for 2023, but they’re the ones we’re most excited about and that we think would make a great first 3D printer or as an upgrade from an older model. If you want to browse the rest of the lineup, be sure to check out our Creality 3D printer buying guide.
